Job Description

The Role

The Marketing Director will report to the UK country manager. The role will have a broad and hands-on remit, taking full responsibility for SodaStream’s Marketing in the UK covering areas such as category management (including produt range definition and product launches), trade marketing (including “big and bold” point-of-purchase executions and product promotions), coordination of PR and creative agencies as well as full the brand management responsibility.

The Head of Marketing will lead a team that will include a brand manager and a trade marketing manager and will closely partner with Sodastream HQ on all UK marketing strategy and execution areas.


The Candidate

·        Marketing background and understanding of the UK consumer

·        FMCG, sales/retail experience – a must

·        Data oriented with strong commercial sense

·        Managerial maturity and ability to mentor others

·        Strategic thinker and planner

·        Drives for results with the highest sense of urgency

·        Strong communication and influencing skills (oral and written)

·        Innovative and creative thinking (need fresh, imaginative thinking)
